We’ve all been in the situation where you have hardly any time to get ready and you want to look like you’ve made an effort and look your best. I recently popped together a simple but effective make up look that should mean you’re ready in no time at all and it even includes a soft and subtle smokey eye! Continue reading

What I Wore Wednesday – BeautyCon
On Saturday I had a last minute opportunity to attend BeautyCon London with the lovely Michelle from Black Girls Blush. We spent our day there looking around the different brands, listening to some of the talks and even meeting Patricia Bright and Sammi Maria! We had such a fun day so what better way to start my What I Wore Wednesdays than with what I wore to BeautyCon! Continue reading
Gifting for Him with Clinique
When it comes to buying gifts for my dad or brothers I often struggle. But this year I found a gift set from Clinique that’s an all round winner in my eyes! Continue reading
Evening Skincare Routine
Last year I shared a winter skincare routine as part of my Blogmas posts. A year on and I’ve definitely changed my routine up – for the better! One product however has remained constant and there are plenty of good reasons as to why. Continue reading
Christmas Gift Set Review – Origins ‘Let Us Glow’
If you know someone that uses the Ginzing range from Origins you can’t go wrong with getting them the Let Us Glow gift set which retails for £29. This set is also perfect to buy for someone to try the range. It’s suited to dull, tired and dry skins and aims to brighten and refresh the skin. Continue reading
Charlotte Tilbury ‘Quick ‘n’ Easy Make Up Set
I have wanted to try Charlotte Tilbury for some time. However, I don’t have a store that sells Charlotte Tilbury near to where I live so have never been able to swatch the products. I like to be able to swatch before I buy as you can never be too sure of the quality or the colour pay off without trying. Whilst I was visiting Bicester Village (which I wrote about in my last post) I came across a Charlotte Tilbury pop up boutique. Continue reading
The Best High Street Cleansing Balm?
So, I’ve been a loyal fan of the Camomile Cleansing Oil (£12) from The Body Shop for a while and have struggled to find an alternative oil that I liked as much. I recently decided that it was time to try something else from the range to see if it lived up to the oily sister. I took the plunge and picked up the cleansing balm despite not getting on with balms from other brands in the past…!
The Ordinary – Hyaluronic Acid Review
My skin is often very dry and I struggle to find anything to help keep it hydrated. I’m always on the look out for new skincare that targets hydration. I recently saw Fleur de Force talking about ‘The Ordinary’ skincare and one of her favourite products was the hyaluronic acid. Trusting her opinion, I decided to try the product for myself!
First Impressions: L’Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub
L’Oreal have been stepping up their game when it comes to masks and skincare. Last year saw the release of the pure clay masks which were raved about. When I saw the pure clay wash in my local Boots store I decided to pick it up and give it a go (after a few weeks of umming and ahhing if I actually needed another scrub to add to my collection).
January Favorites
This month I’ve been using lots of new products which I received for Christmas which has given me a chance to find some new favourites. I am now however on a strict one in one out system with my make up bag – I’m not sure how long this will last though as I love trying new products!
