Feeling Spendy at Bicester Village

For a number of years Bicester Village has been a favourite place to shop for my Dad. It has also become one of my favourite places to visit with him and not necessarily to buy extravagant purchases every time but even just to have a mooch around the shops. I recently visited Bicester Village following an extension and I have to say, it has only got better! Around Christmas time Bicester becomes pretty festive – as well as busy. We are used to going early on a Sunday and leaving before the crowds start. When we visited most recently on a Sunday though, the queues for the shops had already started by 9:30! One of my top tips for visiting Bicester Village is to definitely head there early on a weekend or if you can, visit during the week!

Bicester hosts a wealth of luxe stores from Gucci to Dior, Mulberry to Celine, Prada to Valentino and so many more. The stores offer a discount on the high street prices and you can quite often find hidden gems. It’s also great if you missed out on a piece from last season as you might be able to pick it up here at a discount!

The village is outside and therefore not undercover so I would recommend taking a brolly and definitely wrapping up warm! At this time of year Bicester becomes incredibly festive and walking around you are surrounded by twinkling lights and lots of ferns and pine cones!

In the heart of the village sits this Foreo his dark grey sleigh. Of course I had to have the obligatory photo! It’s covered in a festive wreath and has a backdrop of twinkling lights.

Emma Bridgewater has recently opened at Bicester Village and these quintessentially British phone boxes have had a make over from the classic red. They definitely make a statement and again make for a perfect photo opportunity!

One of my favourite stops on my most recent trip to Bicester was to the newly opened Charlotte Tilbury Store. They stock exclusive gift sets in store and also last years advent calendar. The sets are all at a discount and some make for great value for money. The store is a pop up and is open until early January so I would definitely recommend heading there sooner rather than later to check out what they have in stock.

To see what I picked up in Charlotte Tilbury be sure to check my next post!
