Christmas Eve is just 20 days away! I have been seeing a lot of Christmas Tags on other blogs which I have enjoyed reading so I have decided to take part too. I hope you get a little insight into some of my Christmas favourites!
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Elf! I have to watch it at least once every year in the lead up to Christmas, it’ll never get boring. I also love Home Alone, of course!
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Always Christmas morning! There’s still something exciting and a little magical about going downstairs in PJ’s and seeing just what was in that box that has been sat under the Christmas tree.
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Christmas at my Nan and Grandads house. We would all wake up super early, me and my brothers would check to see if the mince pie and carrot had gone (thanks Grandad!) and read the note that had been left (thanks Nan!). This would make us so excited to go out to the conservatory and see what had been left! We would have a huge Christmas dinner with the rest of our family and we’d then spend the afternoon playing with our gifts and eating all of the chocolate!
4. Favourite festive food?
So many! Pigs in blankets, Cheeselets (these are seriously amazing!), malteser sweets from the Celebrations tin, Terry’s Chocolate Orange and Christmas pudding.
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I don’t think I have a favourite! I have lots of gifts which are special to me, but none which are my favourite as such!
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
In terms of candle scents I love sweet and pepperminty scents around Christmas time. Winter Candy Apple from Bath and Body Works is dreamy! But, in general, around Christmas time I love the smell of satsumas. To me, the smell of a freshly peeled satsuma says Christmas!
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Christmas Eve is the day after my birthday, so we don’t really have any as such. Especially now as me and my brothers have got older. I think once I move into my own home I’ll build traditions in that I wish we had done at home.
8. What tops your tree?
We have a big red bow – our tree is probably as old as me and it can’t hold much more than that these days. I remember we used to have an angel, but I think it got a bit tatty.
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I remember always putting a holiday to Disneyland Paris on the top of my list. I never got it, but I was always told it was maybe because it isn’t something that ‘Father Christmas’ could wrap and bring on his sleigh…!
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Getting to spend time with family. I also love picking out gifts for people and giving them. I try to put as much thought into the gifts I get people as I can and hope that they really enjoy them!
Let me know in the comments below if you have answered a Christmas Tag! If you haven’t yet, then I tag you!
