September Favourites

September went by in a bit of a blur with lots of change and a busy month at work meaning I was always reaching for products I knew would work well and didn’t take too much effort. So, not too many new favourites but here are a few stand out products from September.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Rome’

Kudos has to go to blackgirlsblush for this one. Pink nudes are my thing and she pushed me out of my comfort zone to try something new. I love the subtle dark brown in this and it is definitely my current autumn lip colour of choice.

Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water

This has been great when I can’t be bothered to use my cleansing oil in the evenings. This melts make up off so well, even waterproof mascara! It leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry as I have found with other micellar waters.

L’Oréal True Match Foundation in 2.N

I have to say, I wasn’t a fan of this when I first tried it a year or so ago, but when it was readvertised at the start of the month, I decided to give it another go. I’m so happy I did. It doesn’t cling to any dry patches and blends in seamlessly with my skin. It looks natural yet gives a good amount of coverage. True match now prides itself in having a shade to suit all skin tones, so would definitely pick it up if you are looking for a new foundation.

Clinique Moisture Surge

It’s no surprise that this has made it into my favourites. I have used this every day, day and night and it has helped my skin to stay hydrated and soft. I have a full review here.

I really want to try out Clinique moisture surge! I love their Dramatically Different Gel which I am currently using.

As for the oil-infused micellar water, I am really intrigued as like you say, I can’t get my super waterproof mascara off with just the normal micellar water.

I really recommend it! It is great for dry skin and leaves it feeling so soft. Make up also sits really well on it! The micellar water is great, I’m not the biggest fan of the original formula but this one is so good! It will definitely get rid of your waterproof mascara! 🙂
