With reading blogs and watching YouTube videos comes a long list of ‘wants’. Whether that be skin care, make up or fashion. With my upcoming trip to America looming my list of products to buy whilst I’m there is ever-growing.
High up on my list are some products from Tarte. I know we are able to get Tarte in England, but it’s not easily available – or at least it’s not as far as I know. Tarte do now ship to the UK but I figured it will be easier to pick the bits up whilst I’m there.
The Lights Camera Flashes mascara has been around in the beauty blogging world for a while now and I feel a little bit late to the party! I tried to find this when it was first launched but to no avail so it was a must on my shopping list.
I’ve heard a lot about the Rainforest of the Sea foundation since it launched earlier this year. With so many bloggers talking about it, I have to try it out for myself. Buying this foundation in person is also a must – no one wants to spend money on a foundation only to realise it is the wrong shade!
When I saw the In Bloom palette in one of Fleur de Force‘s videos I immediately added it to my list. It has been making a regular appearance in her recent looks and it looks lovely. I am a neutral lover and rarely wear anything much more than a nude or brown on my lid! I think I will get so much use out of this palette and can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Sephora will definitely be one of the stores I visit more than once, I’m sure. There’s always new products being launched and I will be sure to keep an eye out on my favourite American YouTuber’s pages and channels.
I’ve heard and seen a lot of hype surrounding the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and I want to give it a whirl. I have studied the shades on various blogs and think I’ll be picking up the colour ‘Lolita’. I hope this isn’t too drying on my lips as I find some matte lipsticks do dry my lips out and the products cracks. Hopefully this isn’t the case with this lipstick!
Another product from the Kat Von D line that I’ve wanted to try for a little while now is the Tattoo Liner. I am always on the look out for a liquid liner that will last – both on the eyes and won’t dry out. Most of my drugstore liners tend to dry out really quickly both in the tube and on the eyes. Liners usually tend to fade after a few hours on my lids so here’s to hoping this one lives up to my expectations!
Buying a perfume without sampling it is for me a big risk! I’ve read many reviews about the Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black perfume and I will definitely be sampling this and bringing it home after all, no holiday is complete without a perfume purchase! I will be looking at both the Nirvana Black and White and hopefully like one of them! From what I’ve read, I’m more swayed by black, but that could change once I’ve smelt them on my own skin and let them wear for a little while.
I’m sure I’ll be picking up a Sephora Face Mask or two! I have a pretty busy two weeks planned so I’ll be sure to give my skin a boost when I get some down time. I’ll also need one on the plane as I find my skin get’s very dry when I fly. I’m finding my skin is looking a little lacklustre these days and when I’m away I want it to look as radiant as possible.
It seems that Sunday Riley is taking the high-end skin care world by storm. First with ‘Good Genes’ and most recently ‘Luna’ an overnight oil. I’ve wanted to try both, but they are pretty pricey here in the UK. Whilst browsing the Sephora site I noticed the two together as a Power Couple Duo. This will be a great way for me to try both of the products before taking the plunge on the full size back home in the UK.
I’m sure there will be plenty more that I will be adding to the list nearer the time. Whatever I do purchase will be in a post once I’m back. Is there anything you would recommend? Or even anything you would not recommend? Let me know in the comments below!
