I’m always trying new products, whether it’s something I’ve heard a lot about or something I’ve heard nothing about and just happen to spot as a new item on the shelf at Boots. I love trying new things, but I’ve definitely learnt the hard way that not everything will work as well on me as it does someone else. And that sometimes, I should go with instinct and think about the times I vowed never to use certain products again.
First up in my empties is the ‘Sanctuary Foaming Creamy Bath Soak’. I’ve enjoyed using Sanctuary products for a while and I use the shower oil as a shaving oil and it works amazingly well. The bath soak leaves my skin feeling soft after my bath and it has the classic Sanctuary Spa scent. The scent fills the whole bathroom and lingers for a while after your bath. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I next need a bath foam.
I never stay loyal to a shampoo and conditioner and I cannot remember the last time I repurchased a combination because I had enjoyed them so much or they’d made a difference to my hair. The ‘TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume’ collection was no different. I bought this because it was on introductory offer at Boots when it was first released. My hair gets greasy VERY easily so the reverse system was what swayed me to purchase it. At first I noticed that my hair would last longer before becoming greasy and there was a little more volume than usual. However, after using the duo for a few more washes my hair seemed to get used to the product and it wasn’t looking as full. It also became greasy quickly and began to look flat. I didn’t repurchase this when it came to the end of the bottle, I was almost happy to see the end of it. I did however purchase a different variety of TRESemme shampoo and conditioner which may make it way to a post soon
My last empty is a toothpaste. Toothpaste is something that more recently I’ve stuck to the same as it seems to work. However, when Oral B released the ‘3D White Perfection’ I had to try it. Before starting my Invisalign treatment I had my teeth whitened by my dentist and I wanted to be sure to keep the results for as long as possible. Using a whitening toothpaste seemed to help. This toothpaste definitely has and I couldn’t recommend it enough. It really helped to keep my teeth bright and shiny and retain the whiteness. My boyfriend is also a convert to it! I have already repurchased this and will continue to for the foreseeable future. The toothpaste is currently on offer at Superdrug for just £2 which is an absolute steal!
I’m really enjoying using some new products at the moment which may make it into an empties post or maybe even a favourites. What products have you recently made it to the end of? Will you be purchasing them again any time soon? Let me know in the comments below!
