I’ve enjoyed Lush products for some time, but I have recently delved into the depths of their bubble bars. I have used the bubble bar wand which comes out at Christmas, but never anything else. I recently went shopping with my friend and picked up ‘Milky Bath’. This was at first a bit of a strange concept and for someone who hates milk, possibly a bit of an odd choice. I thought I’d give it a whirl and I am so happy I did.
The bubble bar created so many bubbles from such a small amount. Yes, I am one of those that gets as many uses out of a product as possible. The water seemed to feel softer – if that’s even possible! I was worried that it would smell like hot milk, but instead the familiar scent of cocoa filled the room. There was also a light scent of orange which is probably down to the orange oil within the bar.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo of the bar before I used it. But you can see what it looks like for yourself here.
Whilst in Lush I also picked up ‘Sakura’. It instantly made me think of spring – probably down to the cherry blossom. I knew I had to purchase it as soon as I smelt it.
When I used the bath bomb for the first time, I used a small chunk – again, down to me wanting to get the most out of it. The smell of this product is amazing and it really does fill the room! I also noticed that it lingered for a couple of hours after my bath! If you like cherry blossom scented products this is definitely one to try. I would recommend giving this a sniff in store or alternatively, you can pick it up from the Lush website for £3.50.
Finally, the product which I have used every day without fail in the bath. I have always loved trying out new Original Source shower gels and the ‘Tea Tree and Mint’ scent will always be one of my favourites. I recently picked up a new scent ‘Wild Cherry and Nettle’ which I had not seen before.
I originally thought this was a strange mix of scents, as I would never have imagined the two going together so well. But they do! As with all Original Source shower gels the scent is very strong. I’ve found that a little does go a long way. The scent lasts on the skin for a really long time and I found myself noticing it a few hours after my bath. The shower gel can be purchased from local supermarkets and drugstores. I picked mine up from Boots.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for some new additions to your pamper or bath routine. Or even just made you want to have a nice relaxing bath!
